Principal Investigator
Yiyue Luo is an Assistant Professor of
Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at UW. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science
from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from University
of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Members
Sen Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher at the WI Lab. He
received Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University. His research focused on intelligent
wearable devices, soft robotics, smart textiles, and advanced manufacturing. He specialized in developing innovative actuators,
including magnet-driven, electrically driven, and pneumatic origami actuators, as well as dielectric elastomer actuators (DEA)
and bio 3D-printed hydrogels.
Ray Song is an undergraduate researcher at the WI Lab. He
is pursuing a major in Computer Engineering (CSE) and a minor in Digital Arts and Experimental Media (DXARTS) at University of Washington.
His research focused on tactile sensing for human-robot interaction and assitive technology.
